Dilution

Wisps don't last very long
The dispersion of blood into water, silken ribbons caught by bared branches
Smoke infiltrating every possible pore, dancing up by the ceiling
Hair in hot baths. The thoughts in my mind.
All swishes never really duplicate just hold similar.
They fascinate me. As you once did.

I really love this...I'm not completely sure what it's about but it's beautiful nonetheless. Sometimes the best poems are the ones in which the meaning is open to interpretation.

MindLove..... thank you. Just a very quick effort this week.

Jinksy - yup. That's love.

Berowne - ah, ta chuck. I'll try have a go at your quiz in a little while, but I'm never right!

Lyn - thank you. That was the kind of route I was taking.

Helen - I do love light and airy words!

Keith - ah, thanks. You've got to be a Magpie Taler to be in with a shout of fathoming me out. Sometimes it is pure drivel, though!

Kutamin - always so kind....XxX

Lena,
Like ships passing in the night or campfire embers; fleeting memories.
