Daffy Update

It looks like the food colouring is working on the daffodils but won't change the flower completely before it dies. Quite a nice difference nonetheless, just with subtle edging. If I try it again I'm going to use shorter stalks and a different brand additive. Click for the bigger pic!

Hi, thanks for leaving me a comment on one of my blogs!
Hey, if you put any food colouring in the water the flowers will turn that colour. For example, if you put blue in, you will get a blue daffodil!
Now following both of your blogs....may as well go along for the ride, and yes, I live in the Borders! (Someone has to keep you Scots out! Lol!!!!)

I like them the way they are, with the differentiated edges. Makes me want to find some flowers to dye!
